YMS Chairman's message 2005

Welcome~! It is my great honour to be the Chairman of YMS for session 05-06. I have been joining YMS when I was studying in university. Still remember the day that a YMS committee member approached me and shared a lot of his views on mechanical engineering, included academic, career, network…etc. I was fully awoke and refreshed by him. From that moment I knew I should keep my eye wider and explore more in this profession, and would like to develop myself with IMechE.

YMS consists of a group of young engineers, who are of mechanical engineering background and now working in different disciplines, and representatives from three local universities. I am very glad to work with this big group of young engineers who have the ambition to serve our fellow members.

On behalf of YMS, I would like to make a promise here that we would wholeheartedly try our very best to serve all members and fight for the greatest benefits for our members. Please do feel free to let us know any event or function that you would like to have in coming year.

Lastly, I hope all members would have a fruitful year!
